Citizenship and community action

Citizenship is much more that possessing a document that recognises you, paying taxes

and the rights to vote.

The exercise of citizenship means the active, caring and solidarity involvement of citizens in social issues that concern us, having the right to propose, decide and carry out initiative that we think will better the community, thus promoting public participation in the government and changing the paradigm of power relations.

With the talks and workshops we want to encourage:

  • The importance of actively taking on this right and responsibility.

  • The sensitivity and the understanding about the value of investing for the common good.

In order to do this we share knowledge and key tools, through specific exercises, about how to carry out our civic responsibility, to know how to participate in a democratic way and to arrive at a consensual agreement.
